If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health.

A body that is well nourished is better able to handle all stresses, including the stress of disease. Supporting your body nutritionally will help you return to health more quickly and help you to maintain that health. True health is not possible without a healthy diet.
Donna Costa has been practicing as a RNCP (Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner) since 1999. She focuses on teaching her patients “health through whole foods” and emphasizes nutrition basics. In fact, she teaches nutrition fundamentals at the Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine (London campus).
Nutri-Body Analysis™
Donna uses the Advanced Nutri-Body™ analysis, a symptom-based questionnaire, to evaluate nutritional imbalances. She then makes recommendations for diet improvements to normalize your nutritional health. Supplements are recommended where indicated, with the emphasis always on whole foods.

Nutri-Segment – Fibre: Grains
If the only whole grain you eat is whole wheat, consider this segment to learn about these nutritious whole grains.

Learn how to cook these grains and create delicious recipes for breakfast or dinner.
Nutri-Segment – Fibre: Legumes
If chili or a can of pork ‘n beans is the only time you eat beans, consider this segment to learn more about this wholesome food, including beans such as mung beans, French lentils, green lentils, and the gourmet black bean. Learn how to cook the dried legumes to maximize the nutrients and minimize flatulence! Tried and true recipes.
Nutri-Segment – Acid/Alkaline Balance
In overcoming dis-ease, the higher the ratio of alkaline foods in the diet, the faster will be the recovery. This is especially important in cancer, arthritis or rheumatic conditions. In this segment, you learn which foods are alkaline, which are acidic, and a simple testing procedure so you can determine in your own home whether your body is acid or alkaline, along with easy ways to return to an alkaline state for optimal health.
Nutri-Segment – Powerhouse Foods
Indole-3-carbinols, or indoles for short, double the amount of protective estrogen (C2 hydyroxyestrone) and decrease the harmful estrogen (C16 hydroxyestrone). This segment will discuss how to get more indoles in your diet and teach you the key that most people are missing to protect your thyroid. This segment will also explain another powerhouse food – sprouts – and various methods for sprouting beans, grains, and seeds, as well as which sprouts are highest in phytoestrogens for preventing breast cancer.
Nutri-Segment – Protein
Did you know that almost all foods have some protein? Even a banana has 1 gram of protein. Did you know that there are eight essential proteins that we must get from our food? If you want to eat vegetarian or if you have decided to eat less red meat, then this segment will teach you how much protein you need and what are quality protein sources. Is tofu for you? Hint: It’s not the best choice for everyone! However, if it is suitable for you, I include some great recipes.
Nutri-Segment – Fats
This segment teaches the basics on fats – which ones are essential for health, which are indicated for inhibiting tumours, which are indicated for poor digestion, which ones are safe for cooking at high temperatures, and which ones must never be heated. So much to consider! It is so easy to add in healthy fats to your diet. This segment includes over 15 simple & nutritious salad dressing recipes.
